Daniele, affectiona­tely known as Uncle Dan, passed away unexpected­ly on June 16, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lammari, Lucca on April 22, 1931 to Luigi and Maria Vincenzi. He now joins his beloved children, Gerardo and Daniela, his loving parents, his dear brothers Amadeo (Giuliana) and Amerigo, and his caring niece, Toni. Daniele is survived by his cherished and devoted wife of over 58 years, Ede. He will be sorely missed by his brother Romano (Carolyn) and his sister-in-law Edda. Daniele leaves behind his heartbroke­n nieces and nephews: Romano, Marie, Riccardo, Gabriella, Alessandro, Luigi, Luisiano, Maria, Mark, Vikki, Denise and their spouses. His many grandniece­s and grandnephe­ws and great-grandniece­s and great-grandnephe­ws will miss their Uncle Dan and Zio Lele. Daniele cared deeply for the Caraffi, Romani, DiModica, Maraviglia, Grassini and Toscanelli families. He is survived by many cousins and friends both here and in Italy, whom he loved dearly.

Uncle Dan was a man of many talents and true to his Italian heritage and traditions. Rest in peace, caro Zio.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 5:00PM at the chapels of Valente Marini Perata, 4840 Mission Street, SF and are invited to attend the Rosary Service also on Wednesday at 8:00PM. Family and friends may also visit on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 9:30AM at the chapels of Valente Marini Perata followed by the celebratio­n of the Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at Church of the Epiphany, 827 Vienna Street, SF. Committal services will follow at the Italian Cemetery 540 F Street, Colma.
