Frank Gonzalez Jr. Passed away peacefully, June 19, 2017, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Julia Gonzalez; loving father of Frank Gonzalez III, Albert Gonzalez, Ron Gonzalez, Judy Vargas, Cindy Buitrago, and Evelyn Andrade, Lizette Thornton, and Anna Gonzalez (daughter-in-law), Tony Buitrago (son-in-law) and Doug Thornton (sonin-law), and Temy Martinez; dear grandfather of grandchildren: Rico, Bianca, Michelle, Renee, Robert, Ben, Ayla and Chris, Shawn, Eric, Jason, and Joshua and great grandchildren: Marcus, Bryanna, Marcelino, Julianna, Lyana, and Makaila, Haily, Wyatt, Cassie, and Nicholas and great, great grandchildren: Madelyn and Scarlett; dear son of the late Francisco and Fidela Gonzalez; survived by his sister Nancy Buckley; preceded in death by brothers Wilfredo Gonzalez, Romaldo Gonzalez, Roberto Gonzalez and sister Sonia Luciano. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.

Mechanic/Shop Foreman at Presidio of San Francisco for over 40 years. 50-Year member of the Club Puertorriqueno de San Francisco; he served as club President, Vice President, Supervisor and Historian of the organization. Proud Puerto Rican who loved music, dancing, food and partying. He especially loved vacationing with family and entertaining; loved to tailgate at Giants and 49er games.

Friends may visit Sunday, July 2nd from 4-9pm and are invited to attend the Vigil Service Sunday, July 2nd at 6pm and the Funeral Service Monday, July 3rd at DUGGAN’S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Ave, Daly City. Committal Olivet Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life to follow.
