After a courageous 18 months battle with cancer, Robert (Bob) James Taft, Jr. passed away at St Joseph’s Hospital, in Stockton on Father’s Day, June 18th, 2017 at the age of 66.

Bob is predecease­d by Mother, Donna Horton, fathers, Hubert Son, & Robert Taft, Sr. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Leticia .

Bob is lovingly remembered by his four daughters, Audra, (LaNae), Sabrina (Brea) (Little) Shauna and Sheree; Brothers, Hal, & Danny; Sisters, Sherry, Shauna, RoseMarie, and Vickie, and by John Horton, his father since he was a young boy, of 9 years. In addition Bob is survived by 9 grand children, 1 great grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.

Bob was born in Denver, CO in 1951. He graduated from Mission High School in 1969. He was proud of his few years of service in the USMC in the early 70’s. Bob recently retired from the Golden Gate Transit System in San Rafael.

Bobby had a wonderful passion for life and family. He enjoyed and shared his artistic gifts through sketches, singing and a witty sense of humor. He loved music, motorcycle­s, and sports!

Services will be held at Casa Bonita Funeral Home, 2500 Cemetery Lane, Stockton, CA 95205, on July 3rd. Prayers and viewing will be offered from 12:00pm–3 pm. Celebratio­n of Life services well be at 3pm.
