Dolores passed away peacefully at home on July 9, 2017. The youngest of eight children, Dolores was born December 22, 1935 in San Francisco to the late Denis and Mary Desmond. She was a graduate of Epiphany Elementary School and Presentati­on High School. Dolores loved to travel with her husband. She enjoyed sewing and cooking and was always in the kitchen trying out new recipes. She loved entertaini­ng and was always a gracious host. She will be remembered for her warm and generous heart and her enthusiasm for life.

Dolores was the beloved wife of 60 years to the late John “Jack” Eberle. She was the loving mother of Deborah (Greg) Allison, Denise (Eric) Nielsen, John (Patty) Eberle, Ron (Gina) Eberle and Denis (Laurie) Eberle. She was “GG” to her 10 grandchild­ren, Ashley (Garrett) Smallridge, Amber (Kyle) Pierceall, Brittaney, Hunter and Shannon Nielsen, Austin, Morgan, Braeden, Matthew and Isabella Eberle, and 2 great grandchild­ren, Jordan and Kennedy Smallridge.

Dolores was predecease­d by her brother James (late Evelyn) Desmond and her sisters Mary (late John) Puccinelli, Katherine (late Harold) Welchert, Betty (late Mel) Ravella, Anne (late Stan) Cordes, Joan Desmond, and her twin sister Theresa (late Mel) Modesti.

Dolores is also survived by loving in-laws, nieces and nephews and a host of long-time friends.

A special thank you to caregivers Marilou, Joe, Arthur and Samantha for taking care of her the past several months.

A memorial Mass will be held at St. Dunstan Church, 1133 Broadway, Millbrae on July 28th, 2017 at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anthony’s dining room.
