Audrey Barbara Ajemian Fellows passed away in Palo Alto, CA, June 23, 2017, surrounded by her family. She was 95 years old. She is survived by her three children Susan, William, and Robert, and 7 grandchildren.

Her passion for discussing politics and lively banter was experienced by all who met her. Often offering a quick retort or response of wry humor, she charmed most all with her curiosity and a desire to engage. For many she was a model for independence and personal expression. Audrey’s strong will, lively spirit, and creativity were recognized by all who met her. She was treasured by her many wonderful friends and will be missed deeply.

Born in Worcester Ma. to Shahin and Rose, Ajemian, she was raised in Watertown, attended Simmons College and worked as a nurse-anesthetist at Mass General hospital and Columbia University hospital. Audrey was married to Victor Fellows for 62 years with whom she built a home in Hillsborough, CA and raised three children. She worked for many years as an interior designer and in the second half of her life became an award winning portrait artist.

The family wishes to thank her devoted caregivers who helped her through the last years of her life, especially Luz, for all their kindness and wonderful care.

Private Memorial Services will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates gifts to the San Francisco Opera.
