Mary Rose Donohue

October 26, 1930 – August 14, 2017

Beloved wife for 55 years to the late Robert Emmett Donohue, Sr.; devoted mother of Robert Emmett Jr. (Debbie), Gregory Thomas, and Joanne Marie Donohue. Preceded in death by her parents Erwin and Margaret Tompkins; her children Timothy Patrick, Eileen Therese, and Philip James (Maureen); her brothers and sister Erwin (Dorothy), Robert (Claire) – living, Margarett Ellen (Raymond) Buckner, Edwin (Jean) – living, and Paul (Elaine). Loving grandmother to Brian, James, and Jennifer Donohue. StepGrandmother to Matthew and Erica Boesch, Logan, Benjamin, and Leilani Kuehl, and close family to Maureen and Greg Boesch. Survived by her sister Delores Gator (Bill Ramirez), and by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins; loving sister-in-law to Gail Dal Cielo.

Mary Rose worked for the City Death Registration.

Mary Rose was a loving mother and teacher’s aid. Mary Rose loved family gatherings, camping, Russian River, and Lake Tahoe. In later years she and Robert enjoyed numerous cruises to different parts of the world. Mary Rose loved reading, playing games, writing letters and cards to everyone. She also loved shopping and eating out at restaurants with family and friends.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 19th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel Church, 2559 40th Ave., San Francisco, CA.
