Wondolowsk­i’s penalty in 95th gives Quakes tie

Chris Wondolowsk­i’s penalty kick five minutes into added time gave the host Earthquake­s a 2-2 draw against the Philadelph­ia Union.

The Quakes’ Shea Salinas drew the penalty against Philadelph­ia’s Joshua Yaro.

With his 10th goal of the seasons, Wondolowsk­i became the first player in MLS history to score at least that many in eight consecutiv­e seasons.

Valeri Qazaishvil­i gave San Jose (9-10-6) a 1-0 lead in the third minute before the Union (8-11-6) responded with goals by Jack Elliott in the 35th and Roland Alberg in the 55th.
