Patricia (Paton) Cavagnaro

February 19, 1942 - August 17, 2017

Patricia (Paton) Cavagnaro passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of Robert Cavagnaro, beloved mother of Robert John Cavagnaro, dear mother-in-law of Pamela Cavagnaro, adored grandmother (Nonni) to Daniela & Alexandra Cavagnaro, cherished sister of Robert (Micheline), Jenny & Shawn Paton. Preceded in death by her parents Robert & Petrina (Caruso) Paton, her mother-in-law Evelina Cavagnaro and brother-inlaw Roy Cavagnaro. Also survived by her brotherin-law Larry Cavagnaro, nieces Donna Cervelli & Lori Cavagnaro, and many cousins from the Cavagnaro, Paton, and Caruso families, as well as family in New Orleans, Colorado, and Italy. Patty worked for many years for Home Interiors and Gifts, first as a hostess and then as a manager. For the past 36 years, she worked for her alma mater, Immaculate Conception Academy, one of her many passions. She was a member of Liguria Del Mundo and The Madonna Della Guardia. She was a very proud graduate from Immaculate Conception Academy, class of 1960.

Visitation begins at 5pm followed by a Vigil at 7pm on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Thursday, August 24, 2017. All services will be held at St. Veronica Catholic Church, 434 Alida Way, S. San Francisco, CA. Interment at the Italian Cemetery in Colma, CA.
