Michael Thomas Talcott, 58, of San Mateo entered into rest at his home on Friday, August 25, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. At his request no memorial service will be held but instead “A Celebration of Life” will be given in his honor. Mike is survived by his wife, Cindy of 16 years, brother, Stephen Talcott, wife Debra, Niece, Jennifer Wilson, husband Bryce, Great Niece, Emma Wilson, cousins, Patti Ann Farrell and Leo Farrell. Mike is preceded in death by his Mother, Helen Farrell and his favorite Aunt Marge Farrell.

Mike is also survived by three stepdaughters, a stepson, 10 step grandchildren, his mother-inlaw, Nancy Hensel and father-in-law, Bob Hensel, brother-in-laws, their wives and children. Mike had a passion for life and touched many lives wherever he went. He had many friends who were more like brothers and made new ones along his path. Mike was a very talented artist although he would say “I just like to have fun.” He loved building cars, painting cars, talking cars, taking pictures of cars and watching cars race either on the race track or on TV.

Mike had a successful career with AAA for 31 years and considered his co-workers and clients his friends. He also worked for California Casualty for many years and has remained friends with some of those co-workers. Mike was an avid member of the Juggers Racing Team and considered a lot of the members his closest friends. Mike was loved by all and will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers Mike requested donations be made to Mission Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
