Michael “Buck” Murray

Our beloved Michael James Murray (33) passed away on August 27, 2017 when he lost his courageous battle with drug addiction. He was born on May 27 in Kentfield, CA, the son of Michael and Katie (Bogue) Murray. He attended Bacich, St. Anselm and Kent middle schools and graduated from Redwood High School. Michael is survived by his parents; his brothers Patrick, Dominic and Jimmy. He also leaves behind his grandfather’s James Bogue and James Murray and numerous Aunts and Uncles; Colleen (Larry) Strain, Ellen (Brad) Tham, Eileen (John) Grealish, Elaine (Brad) Paulsey, Diane (and the late Dan) Linehan. Jim Bogue, Erin (Gil) Caravantes, Danny (Heather) Bogue, Kevin Bogue and Paul Sebolsky, Bridget (Rudy) Koopen, Deirdre (Mike) Livingston Cousins; Jennifer (Kyle) Woolsey (Caroline and Parker), Paul (Mary Anne) Strain (Colin), Eric Strain, Matthew, Christopher and Lauren Tham, Megan and Brian Grealish, Siobhan, Patrick and Molly Linehan, AJ and Emily Paulsey, Ryan and Collin Shine. Preceded in death by Grandmothers Maureen Mahoney Bogue and Barbara Galli Murray and Uncle Francis Shine Jr.

Michael leaves behind the love of his life, Cathy Nevolo and her two children who meant the world to him, Gianluca and Isabella Terrigno. Buck had a passion for life and a spirit that filled any room he entered. His compassionate and kind heart was always available to someone in need even a complete stranger.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation starting at 10:00am followed by a funeral mass beginning at 11:00am on Wednesday Sept 6, 2017, at St. Anselm’s Church, 97 Shady Lane, Ross, CA 94957. Casual Dress – Buck couldn’t stand suits!
