No. 11 Oklahoma St. breezes to victory

Mason Rudolph passed for 335 yards and three touchdowns, ran for a score and broke Oklahoma State’s career passing park in the No. 11 Cowboys’ 44-7 victory at South Alabama.

Rudolph broke Brandon Weeden’s mark of 9,260 yards late in the second quarter, and finished the night with 9,352. He completed 25 of 38 passes for the Cowboys (2-0) before heading to the sideline late in the third quarter. Golf: Lydia Ko shot an 8-underpar 64 to join Lexi Thompson atop the Women in Tech Championsh­ip leaderboar­d with one round left at Brickyard Crossing in Indianapol­is.

Winless in more than a year, the 20-year-old Ko had five straight birdies in the middle of her final nine before bogeying the par-4 eighth. Thompson followed her first-round 63 with a 66, scrambling for par on the final two holes to match Ko at 15-under 129. Candie Kung was a stroke back after a 64.

Scott Hend of Australia shot a 7-under 63 to follow his opening 64 and led the European Masters by one stroke after the second round in Crans-Montana, Switzerlan­d. Baseball: Major League Baseball has moved a three-game Yankees-Rays series that begins Monday from Florida to Citi Field in New York because of Hurricane Irma. Motor sports: Brad Keselowski ran down Kyle Busch with 16 laps to go and drove away to win the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Richmond (Va.) Raceway. Elliott Sadler clinched his first regular- season championsh­ip in the second-tier series with a fifth-place finish.

Matt Kenseth won the pole for Saturday night’s 400-mile NASCAR Cup race at Richmond (Va.) Raceway, followed by Kurt Busch and Kyle Larson.
