_1 Campus police shooting: Georgia Tech police shot and killed the president of the Pride Alliance student group Saturday night in full view of dorm residents. Police encountered Scout Schultz, 21, in a parking lot after someone called 911 to report “a person with a knife and a gun,” according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Schultz didn’t appear to be holding a gun in video recorded from a window above the parking lot, but the student had a knife. The video shows officers repeatedly telling Schultz to drop the weapon as the student advances before shots are fired. Schultz was taken to an Atlanta hospital early Sunday and died there, according to the bureau, which is investigating the shooting.

_2 Helicopter crash: A reporter at an Albuquerque TV station died after the news helicopter he was piloting crashed in central New Mexico, authorities said Sunday. Bob Martin, 64, was pronounced dead at the scene Saturday night, according to State Police. KRQE-TV said Martin worked for the station for more than 20 years. KRQE said the helicopter crashed about 4:30 p.m. Saturday in rugged terrain near Ancho, about 130 miles southeast of Albuquerque. No one else was aboard. Federal officials are investigating the cause of the crash.

_3 Trump tweet: President Trump retweeted a mock video Sunday that shows him striking a golf ball that seemingly hits Hillary Clinton in the back and knocks her down as she boards a plane. The video appears to be a doctored version of news footage from 2011 that shows the then-secretary of state falling after climbing stairs to a plane. The tweet says: “Donald Trump’s amazing golf swing #CrookedHillary.” The retweet immediately drew scores of Trump’s critics and supporters into a familiar vortex of debate, with many criticizing the post for seeming to encourage violence and others defending the president. _4 Factory subsidy: Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker said Sunday that he will sign into law a $3 billion incentive package for electronics giant Foxconn Technology Group. Walker is to sign the bill Monday at Gateway Technical College near Racine. The Taiwan company plans to build a huge display-screen manufacturing plant in the area that could employ thousands of people. The incentive package is the largest in U.S. history offered by a state to a foreign corporation. Foxconn could get the full $3 billion only if it invests $10 billion on the project and employs 13,000 workers. Critics say Wisconsin is offering too much without enough guarantees. _5 Gorilla exhibit: A new gorilla is making himself at home at the Cincinnati Zoo. The zoo recently added a 29-year-old western lowland silverback gorilla named Mshindi from the Louisville Zoo. He’s the first gorilla added to the exhibit since the 2016 death of Harambe, who was killed by zoo officials after a 3year-old boy climbed into his enclosure. Harambe’s death inspired global mourning and some criticism. Mshindi will be introduced to the zoo’s two female gorillas, Chewie and Mara, after becoming acclimated to his new surroundings.
