Patricia Louise Jean Arata, OFS.

Age 74, devoted mother and grandmothe­r, passed away peacefully at her home in San Carlos, CA surrounded by her five children. She is survived by two younger sisters, Nanci Wilborn and Jo Macaluso, her children: Mary Trembley, Thomas Bellone, John Bellone, Peter Bellone and Dominic Bellone, and grandchild­ren Giorgi Rose Trembley, Paul Trembley, Sophia Bellone, Brett Springer, Kara DudasBello­ne, Jonathan Bellone, Olivette Carillo and Roman Bellone. Born in San Francisco, Patricia was raised in San Bruno, attended Mercy High School in Burlingame, and studied music at San Jose State University. Patricia was a talented piano player whose music brought joy and inspiratio­n to family and friends. Her greatest love in life was doting on her kids and grandkids, spoiling them with unconditio­nal love, attention and affection. A lifelong devout Catholic, Pat is a recently professed member of the lay order of Secular Franciscan­s, Our Lady of Angels Fraternity, Burlingame.

A viewing will begin at 4:00 pm Monday, September 18, 2017 at Chapel of the Highlands, 194 Millwood Dr, Millbrae. The Rosary will be said at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Roberts Church, 1380 Crystal Springs Rd. in San Bruno on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
