-

Passed away at the age of 82 on September 24, 2017 surrounded by her four children, Tom (Cynthia), Teresa (Chris), Angela and Joe. Betty is survived by her nine grandchildren who she adored and loved dearly, Shawn, Christina, Timothy, Charley, Conan, Claire, Corrine, Tate and Donald; as well as her sister-in-law Patricia Johnson and many nieces and nephews.

Betty grew up in Marin City alongside her siblings Robert Rosa (dec), Marge Hoffman, Shirley Larsen and Bill Rosa, along with her cousin Dorothy Davidson (dec).

After graduating from Mt. Tamalpais High School, Betty began her career in San Francisco at Metropolitan Life. Not long after, she met the love of her life, Thomas Hanlon, Jr. (dec), with whom she shared her life for 54 years.

Betty was an avid sports fan and could be heard cheering loudly for her favorite bay Area Teams, especially the 49ers and Giants. She was happiest when visiting any casino to play the slots and getting Lottery tickets, (Scratchers) as gifts.

Betty had a huge heart and was kind and loving to all she met. She will truly be missed.
