Patricia Greene Peck, born July 1, 1928, passed peacefully on September 23, 2017.

Daughter of Joseph F. and Mary C. Greene of San Francisco, loving wife of the late William Lippitt Peck, mother of Nancy M. Peck (John Stuart) of Novato, Colleen A. Peck Fried (David) of Tiburon, Brenden J. Peck (Michelle) of Rohnert Park, Teresa D. Dass (Julius) of Grass Valley, and Kevin Lippitt Peck (Anna) of Tehachapi, cherished grandmothe­r to Jacqueline, Justin, Grace, Caitlin, Liam, Aiden, and Shannon, devoted sister of the late Margaret Cullinan and the late Maureen Conroy. Adored “Aunt Pat” to many nieces and nephews, her boundless spirit of fun and adventure will be sorely missed by many loving relatives and lifelong friends both here and in Ireland.

She was born in San Francisco, attended St. Agnes Grammar School and Academy of Presentati­on High School in San Francisco, was a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and Stanford Graduate School of Education. She was a teacher at Redding Elementary School in San Francisco and Philip Swede Jr. High School in Petaluma. Patricia was a loyal member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, the American Associatio­n of University Women, St. Anthony’s Farms, a founder of the Discovery Days Summer School, co-founder of the Luther Burbank Center of the Arts Women’s Guild, a member of the Board of Directors of the President’s Associates of Sonoma State University and the Petaluma Ecumenical Properties. She loved art, music and nature, spending many happy days entertaini­ng family and friends, hiking at Lake Tahoe, skiing at Squaw Valley and golfing. She will always be remembered for graciously hosting her legendary annual Thanksgivi­ng gathering for a seemingly impossible number of relatives. As an avid Cal fan and tailgater, she was known for serving the perfect Manhattan, and she remained an active member of her UC Berkeley 1950 Class Council throughout her life.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Sunday, October 1st at 2pm at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 30th from 9:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.
