Ashley Bradbury

-

March 20, 1992 - September 24, 2017

Lauren Bradbury and Michael Dodds - the loving mother and father of Ashley Elizabeth Bradbury - announce, with great sadness, her death on Sunday, September 24th, after a long-fought battle with hemolytic anemia.

Boston born and proud, Ashley was a resident of San Francisco for most of her far too brief life of 25 years. She attended St. Mary’s school in Winchester, MA, St. Vincent DePaul School and Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep in San Francisco. An avid Taylor Swift enthusiast, she may in fact been her most adoring fan. With her proficiency in cooking, she became the undisputed “top” chef in her family and a true perfectionist in her craft. Ms. Bradbury was blessed with an abundance of wonderful friends that filled her parent’s home with many nights of noisy sleep overs.

She leaves behind many grieving relatives, including grandmother Isabel Wilber; uncles and aunts, Jeff and Julie Wilber of Louisville CO, Bob and Karen Wilber of Stow, MA, and Jim and Julie Wilber of Rapid City, SD; and many wonderful cousins that she loved so much. Also broken hearted are her bunny Penelope and many wonderful friends that included mother Lauren’s many “adopted daughters”.

Her parents ask that those who knew Ashley please honor her by doing something loving, kind and thoughtful for someone - embracing and enjoying each precious day of life.

Private family services to be held at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco.
