Bucolic six-bedroom adjacent to a regional park in Lafayette has European-inspired upscale details.

On a sliver of land surrounded by Briones Regional Park, a gated development contains some of Lafayette’s most coveted homes. One particular listing that just appeared on the market offers a sophisticated material palette amid a bucolic setting that delights the senses, said Realtors.

“The home’s level of detail is truly breathtaking,” said David Gunderman of Alain Pinel Realtors, who is co-listing the six-bedroom with Andrew Raskopf and Michelle Morgan for $2.875 million. “There’s unparallelled depth of character and attention to detail at every turn.”

Elegant finishes are found throughout 3455 Stage Coach Drive. Cathedral ceilings crown the entry and great room, while a box-beam ceiling shelters the kitchen. Wood-framed multipane windows, crown molding, plantation shutters, wroughtiron fixtures, arched doorways

and bay windows represent some of the upscale details within the European-inspired design.

Refinement defines the master suite. Home to a sitting window and gas fireplace, the grand suite bears a high ceiling and access to the pool patio. Highlighted by a two-person steam shower and a soaking tub surrounded by windows on three sides, the master bathroom is equally gracious.

A common space on the upper level overlooks both the backyard and the adjacent regional park. It includes a pair of storage areas and a closet with floor-to-ceiling shelving.

Bedrooms offer ceiling fans and walk-in closets with builtin storage. Electric blinds shade the home’s skylights and every room has controlled light dimmers. Wireless Bose speakers pump sound into the great room, the owner’s bedroom, the living room and patio.

Built in 1988, the home was renovated and expanded in 2008 and 2011. Other recent modifications include the resurfaced pool, a 75-gallon water heater and new wood fencing bordering the property.
