Ann passed away peacefully in San Francisco, where she was born and raised, and lived for almost 99 years.

Ann was a faithful supporter of the arts:

The San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Opera, ACT, Musical Theatre Works and 42nd Street Moon. She was a devoted member of Temple Emanuel San Francisco. Ann loved to knit and play majong, although she outlived her long-time playing companions. Ann was devoted to and adored her family.

Ann is survived by her sister, Betty, her children Richard (Tamara), Carolyn (Simon) and Kenneth (Julie), and seven grandchildren, Monique, Jennifer, Erika, Zachary, Andrea, Max,and Sam. Her husband, Saul, preceded her in death in 1989. Ann loved to travel the world and bring home wonderful stories. She lived a very long, full, and fun life, and her presence in our lives will be greatly missed. She was truly a San Francisco treasure.
