Passed away peacefully on October 5, 2017 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Mary Crosat who preceded him in death two weeks prior; loving father of Kathie Bailey (Don). Bob Crosat (Nancy) and Raymond John Crosat (Marty); devoted grandfathe­r of 6 grandchild­ren: Michelle Simmons, Donald Bailey, Sarah Crosat Gilman (Dave), Matthew Crosat (Andrea), Brad Crosat, Andraya Crosat, 12 great grandchild­ren and numerous special nieces and nephews.

Ray graduated from Sacred Heart High School. His work career included the SFPD where he retired as Sargent after 30 years. Ray and his wife enjoyed 5th wheeling and ballroom dancing. He was a member of the South End Rowing Club and was an avid handball player winning numerous tournament­s and gold and silver medals in the Police Olympics. He was a member of SF Veterans POA; past president of Widows and Orphans; past president of NSGW #157; past president of the Verdi Club; member of Italian American Social Club, South San Francisco Elks, Golden Gate Smooth Dancers and YMI.

Friends may visit Thursday, October 12, 2017 after 3:00 pm and are invited to attend the Vigil Thursday 7:00 pm at DUGGAN’S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, October 13, 2017 10:00 am at Holy Angels Church, 107 San Pedro Road, Colma. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.

The family wishes to express their appreciati­on to Adobe House caregivers and staff and particular­ly, Maria, for her endearing care. In lieu of flowers a donation to Adobe House, 750 N. McDowall, Petaluma, CA 94954 would be appreciate­d.
