-

January 15, 1938 – October 23, 2017

Themis was born in Agia, Efthymia, Greece in 1938. He was the second of six children born to Efthymia & Efthymios Drolapas. He developed a strong work ethic from the age of 10 by working numerous jobs to help support his family. He became a merchant marine, traveled the world, and settled in San Francisco in 1969. He married his beloved wife in 1973 before moving to Millbrae, CA in 1983 to raise their three sons. He worked as a longshoreman for over 20 years while becoming a successful entrepreneur and real estate investor.

Themis was a devout family man who enjoyed traveling with his wife, telling stories, listening and dancing to music, playing cards and spending time with his treasured grandchildren. He visited Greece often, as his hometown of Agia Efthymia was always close to his heart. He was a symbol of strength that became an anchor for a large family who always felt safe in his shadow. He touched many lives and always enjoyed the company of family and friends. He was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife Anthula; children: Tim, Craig & Antonio Drolapas; daughter-in-law Stephanie Drolapas; beloved grandchildren Themi & Georgianna Drolapas; brother Steve Drolapas; sisters: Panagoula Alexandris, Eva Skoufis & Chrysoula Mengos; and numerous nephews & nieces. Preceded in death by sister Vicky Agelopoulos.
