Al passed away peacefully with his family at his side at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City Ca. on October 7th, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Al was born on December 21,1939 in Manchester CT. to Albert M. Rockwell Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Rockwell.

He is survived by his loving wife Susann Z. Rockwell, children Dennis, Gail, Charlie, Kay and 10 grandchild­ren, 10 great grandchild­ren, brother Robert Rockwell of Staunton VA, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Al Loved his family and was very proud of the Rockwell family history.

Al was a gentle man and was known for his sense of humor. He could bring a lighter mood to any room with a joke and a smile. He was a tinker and would help almost any friend or family member fix and repair any mechanical or electrical devise. He had a passion for old cars and refurbishe­d a model-T and 1919 Ford truck.

Al was an inventor and worked as a scientist and successful business man in the Laser and Heat treating fields, founding Camco Furnace in San Carlos with his family.

He cruised the world with his Wife Sue and Round Dancing group.

Al will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

A Celebratio­n of Life will be held on November 3rd at 11:00 am at the San Mateo Elks Lodge.

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Associatio­n in honor of Al.
