Organizers of the Band Together Bay Area benefit concert, which takes place on Nov. 9 at AT&T Park, released some details on how free tickets will be distributed to first responders as well as volunteers and individuals who were caught in the firestorm that swept through the North Bay.

Most of the reserved tickets will be handed out through the community foundations, nonprofits, government agencies and service providers in the North Bay who are working directly with fire-relief efforts, said Shana Daum, vice president of public affairs and community relations for the San Francisco Giants.

For the rest of those affected by the Wine Country fires, her department will review individual requests on a case-bycase basis.

The reserved seats will cover about 20 percent of the stadium, with many on the field.

“We’re trying to balance the ticket donation with raising as much money as we can through ticket sales,” she said.

The concert — co-produced by Live Nation and Another Planet Entertainment, scheduled to feature performances by Metallica, Dead & Company, Dave Matthews, G-Eazy, Raphael Saadiq and Rancid — aims to raise funds for short-, intermediate- and long-term relief for low-income families, immigrants and other fire victims.

Tickets range from $49.50 to $199.50.

Band Together Bay Area is a coalition of prominent local business and community leaders, including Tipping Point founder Daniel Lurie, Kaiser Permanente, Marc and Lynne Benioff, Salesforce, Google, Jeff and Erica Lawson, Twilio, Ron Conway, the San Francisco Giants, the Levi Strauss Foundation, and Benchmark.

The group has already raised $9 million for the relief efforts.
