The Cannery completes sales at three neighborhoods, introduces final collection
The Cannery, California’s first farm-to-table new home community in the heart of Davis, is pleased to announce that three of its first five initial neighborhoods — Heirloom by The New Home Company, Persimmon by Shea Homes and Beech by CalAtlantic Homes — have sold out.
As The Cannery finishes work on these three neighborhoods, it has also announced that ground has been broken and pre-sales have begun for a new collection of residences — the single-story flats at Gala by The New Home Company.
With two neighborhoods showcasing model homes now open daily and new ones on the way, The Cannery’s varied architectural styles, as well as community amenities, continue to draw attention from a wide range of buyers across California.
Tilton by Shea Homes is comprised of 76 cottages with up to four bedrooms and three baths, ranging from 1,719 to 3,024 square feet. Tilton is priced from the mid-$700,000s.
Sage by The New Home Company is a neighborhood of 73 park homes with up to six bedrooms and five baths, ranging from 1,943 to 3,702 square feet. Sage is priced from the mid-$700,000s.
The last neighborhood to be built at The Cannery, Gala by The New Home Company, offers a variety of floor plans featuring 1,191 to 1,995 square feet with two to three bedrooms and two to two-and-one-half baths. A pre-opening sales campaign has launched out of the Farm House.
The Cannery is an innovative mixed-used community, developed by New Home and designed with a 7-acre Urban Farm on the former Hunt-Wesson tomato cannery facility near the center of downtown Davis.
In addition to residences, The Cannery showcases numerous community amenities including a recreational center called The Ranch House, The Farm House Welcome Center, 2.5-mile loop trail and the Urban Farm.
