John R. Stanton, Jr.

April 15, 1956 - November 6, 2017

John Ronan Stanton, Jr, 61, of Valley Springs, left us on November 6, 2017 at Mark Twain Medical Center.

John was born on April 15, 1956, in San Mateo to John and Barbara Stanton. He graduated from Awalt High School. He married Madlene in 1988 and their children are Jessica, Michael, Elizabeth and Emily.

John spent over 30 years in the rental equipment industry where he established many relationships and built many friendships. His interests included reading, history, playing golf, fishing, woodworking, turning pens, gardening, beekeeping, RVing, wildlife, traveling, exploring the outdoors, watching sports (Go Giants, 49ers, and Warriors!). John had a constant desire to learn new things. But his most important interest was his family, which he was extremely dedicated to.

He is survived by his wife Madlene Stanton; daughter Jessica Fieldsoe and sonin-law Derek, and grandchildren Audrey and Lucas; son Michael Davis; daughter Elizabeth Barrett and sonin-law Nils; daughter Emily Stanton; brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, son, and friend. He was proud of his family and his family was proud of him.

Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 26th at 2PM at Calvary Chapel, 150 California St., Valley Springs, CA.
