The Band Together Bay Area benefit concert at AT&T Park this month was such a success that organizers are planning to do it again.

Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real are scheduled to perform at Band Together 2 Bay Area, a more intimate event to be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Dec. 14, concert promoter Another Planet Entertainment announced on Tuesday, Nov. 28.

Proceeds from the show will once again go toward the Tipping Point Emergency Relief Fund to aid those hardest hit by the deadly firestorm that swept through Wine Country in October.

Tickets, priced at $99.50, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, via Ticketmaster.

The first Band Together Bay Area benefit concert on Nov. 9 featured performances by Metallica, Dead & Company, GEazy, Rancid and others, drawing more than 40,000 people to the stadium (6,500 tickets were donated to first responders and residents of the areas affected by the fires). It was co-presented by Live Nation, which is not involved in this sequel.

That show brought in $17 million, bringing the fire-relief total to more than $23 million raised by the Band Together Bay Area coalition, which was founded by community leaders including Tipping Point CEO Daniel Lurie, Salesforce Chairman Marc Benioff, Giants President Larry Baer, Twilio CEO Jeff Lawson and tech investor Ron Conway.

All of the artists on the bill are donating their time. Aidin Vaziri is The San Francisco Chronicle’s pop music critic. Email: avaziri@sfchronicle.com Twitter: @MusicSF
