Joan Ann (Bellantoni) Redlick

Joan Redlick passed away peacefully on Nov. 28, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born February 3, 1936 in San Francisco, daughter of Joseph and Frances Bellantoni.

She attended Corpus Christi grammer school and Balboa High School.

Joan married Harry Redlick on August 26, 1956, had two children, Michael (Lynn) and Denise (deceased), 3 grandsons: Matthew (Amber), Sean, and Andrew, and was sister of Carolyn Kristovich (John).

Joan met Harry while on a family vacation at Lake Tahoe. They had a beautiful relationsh­ip during their 61 years of marriage and traveled the world together. A special bond existed between Joan and her Sis, Carolyn. She was a loving mother and adored by her grandchild­ren, as well as her nieces, Lori & Karen and nephew, John. She was also blessed with many wonderful friends.

She and Harry resided in San Bruno for 58 years.

Joan worked at San Mateo High School as secretary to the dean for 23 years. After retiring in 2000, she volunteere­d for the Career Closet, the Blood Bank and the San Bruno Elementary School District. She was a proud member of the Italian American Women’s Guild.

A Celebratio­n of Life Mass will be held at St. Robert’s Catholic Church, 1380 Crystal Springs Rd., San Bruno on Friday, Dec. 8th, at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Joan may be made to your favorite charity.
