Rita (Marron) Crowley entered into heaven peacefully, on November 25, 2017, with her daughter by her side. Rita was born to the late Frank and Rose Marron, in Butte, Montana, the youngest of nine siblings. Rita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Crowley, and her cherished grandson, Joseph Crowley.

Rita is survived by her five devoted children, Timothy (Katrina), Ann Marie, Catherine (David), Daniel (Sally), and William; her eleven cherished grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Sarah, Jeffrey, Erin, Catherine, Andrew, Meaghan, Kevin, Caitlin and Daniel; and her eleven precious great grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan, Dylan, Aiden, Wyatt, Ella, Patrick, Elizabeth, Cooper, Everett and Emmett and many nieces and nephews.

Rita moved to San Francisco when she was 18 and graduated from St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing where she worked for many years. After her nursing career, she managed the family construction business. Rita took great pride in the raising of her family in San Francisco; later in life she moved to San Rafael to be closer to her children and grand-children.

Rita lived her life with love, devotion and spirituality. She was a devout Catholic and long time parishioner of St. Monica’s Church. Rita will be remembered for her smile and laughter, her grace, generously giving freely of herself, and an incredible strength of spirit.

She was very much loved and admired by her family and friends and she will be forever missed.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Anselm Church, 97 Shady Lane, Ross, CA, 94957
