Inez Ertassi

-

Inez was called home to be with the Lord on November 28, 2017 at the age of 91. She was born in San Francisco, California in 1926 to Louis and Mary Ertassi and lived in the family home on Potrero Avenue her entire life.

She attended Saint Peters Catholic Church and the all-girls elementary and high schools. She taught catechism and remained active in the parish throughout her life. Inez was a long time member of Branch One of the Italian Catholic Federation and Confraternity of Saint Anne. She also participated in the Apostaloto Radio Cristiano.

After graduation she took a job at Crocker Bank in the financial district where she started as a file clerk and worked her way up to Loan Officer. She retired after 39 years. After taking an early retirement she devoted her time and energy to caring for her ailing father and then her mother until they each passed.

Although Inez had no children, she loved her nieces and nephews as her own.

She was a friendly, generous and caring woman that will be missed by all that knew her.
