Fog Design+Art Fair: The fifth annual edition of the art fair for people who hate art fairs (limited to 45 dealers, carpet and warm lighting, decent food) opens Wednesday evening, Jan. 10, with a big-ticket gala to support the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, then runs all day Thursday-next Sunday, Jan. 11-14 ($25 in advance, $30 door). Untitled, San Francisco: Just the second visit to the Bay Area of a larger, more raucous art fair (fans last year praised its higher energy and younger galleries) than Fog, an offspring of a Miami event held each year since 2012.
