Constance “Connie” Carrau Wren died peacefully at home on Christmas night. She was 87.

Connie was quite active all her life. She loved the opera, reading, walks, traveling, and enjoyed bridge, competitive dominoes, and the company of her friends. She was admired for her spirit, voracious appetite for learning, and joie de vivre. Living in wine country was a perfect fit for her with her appreciation of food and wine. Above all, family meant the most to her.

Among her volunteer efforts were the Cloverdale Regional Library, the Geyserville Chamber, and tutoring in local schools.
