James H. Healey, Jr.

James H. Healey Jr. died peacefully at his home in South San Francisco on January 11th. He was surrounded by his immediate family and devoted wife, Jeanne. He is survived by his four sons, Michael (Karen), Gregory (Judith), David (Tina), James III, 12 Grandchild­ren, and 6 Great Grandchild­ren.

Jim graduated from Commerce High School in 1949. He met the love of his life, Jeanne DiLelio, and escorted her to the Mission High School Senior Prom in 1950. They have been married and devoted to each other for the past 65 years.

Jim was a Korean War Veteran and served in several Top Secret Communicat­ions Centers while attached to the Korean Military Advisory Group (KMAG). He was honorably discharged and received several military campaign and service medals, Including the Korea Presidenti­al Unit Citation.

Favorite activities for Jim included family events and traveling with Jeanne and friends. Jim was a devoted 49er and Giant’s fan. He also enjoyed Bocce, Pedro, and serving on the board of AARP.

In lieu of flowers please remember Jim with a Donation to St. Vincent’s School for Boys, 1 St. Vincent Drive, San Rafael, CA 94903.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by the Memorial Service at 10:45 am at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave, Daly City on January 28, 2018.
