Passed away at St. Anne’s Home on January 10 at the age of 95.

Ginny was born in Lowell MA February 10, 1922. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Tyngsboro, MA in 1940 and went on to earn a BS from D’Youville College in Buffalo NY in 1944. She moved to San Francisco in 1971 where she worked in hospitalit­y and retail. She retired to Santa Rosa before returning to the Bay Area.

Her interests and devotion were centered on her family, initially in Chelmsford MA in the years of their infancy and young adulthood while married to Edward J. DeSaulnier Jr., and subsequent­ly in San Francisco while spending many happy days with her grandsons.

Ginny is predecease­d by her parents, Thomas and Rose Burke, from Lowell MA as well as sisters Mary and Helen. Ginny is survived and lovingly remembered by her children Susan and partner Lynn, Edward III and his partner Andrew, Thomas and wife Sherri, Mark and David and her grandsons Tristan, Tucker, and Andrew.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Monsignor Harry G. Schlitt in the Chapel at St. Anne’s, 300 Lake Street, San Francisco at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 25.
