Claudia “Toni” Alexis Gibeau

Entered peacefully into rest at the age of 68, surrounded by her loving friends and family after a courageous battle with cancer. She now rests with her beloved husband and soul mate, Edward Gibeau, as well as her cherished brother and best friend, Nicholas Alexis Markoff.

Claudia (known by many as “Toni”) was a talented singer and accomplish­ed business profession­al, known for her warmth and humor. She had a passion for music, animals, and people. In addition to being a profession­al singer, she was a Chief Financial Officer for Internatio­nal Service Group for decades. Claudia’s love of people brought her to Nordstrom, where she became an award-winning saleswoman. Upon retiring from Nordstrom, Claudia pursued a lifelong dream, and ended her profession­al career at the San Francisco Zoo, where her passion for people flourished.

Claudia is survived by countless friends and family, including her beloved niece, Sarah Elaine Markoff, and the Marchus family. Claudia will be missed deeply and loved eternally.

Friends may visit after 10:30am, Sat., Jan 27, Garden Chapel, 885 El Camino Real, So.SF where a Funeral Service will be held at 11am. Private Committal.
