Barbara Jean Bonanno

-

Received her wings from God on January 26, 2018 and has become our angel at the age of 69. Beloved wife of 30 years to Edward D. Bonanno, devoted mother of Nathan Kundert (Mary) and Gina (Geoff) Hamilton, proud Nonni of MacKenzie Jean Hamilton, dedicated daughter of the late Jennie Joan Allegrezza and the late Salvatore Joseph Balestrieri, and adopted daughter of the late Arduino Allegrezza. Barbara was a loving cousin of Robert (Kip) Scialanga, Michelle (Jeff) Wilcox, Aurora and Lorenzo Wilcox, and Jillian Scialanga, as well as a caring Sister-in-Law, Auntie, Godmother, YaYa and friend to all who knew her.

Barbara could uplift anyone around her with her witty sense of humor, her inspiring zest for life and her beautifully infectious smile. Barbara would beam with joy at the mere mention of her children and light up with love around her husband. Her favorite things in life were spending time with friends and family but mostly spending time with her granddaughter, MacKenzie (Noodle). Barbara had many hobbies including traveling, collecting jewelry, dancing, cooking and relaxing by the pool with a good book. She will always be with us as her passion & spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
