Michael Joseph Driscoll, Jr., unexpectedly passed from our hands into the loving hands of God at the age of 64. He was a man known and loved by many for his curiosity, intelligence, wit, humor and sensitive spirit. He will be deeply missed.

Mike was a loving father to his three daughters and his sons-in-law, Elizabeth Driscoll, Erin and Rieve MacEwen, and Jennifer and Michael Facchetti. His three daughters and four grandchildren, Elliot, Aidan, Luke and Holly, were the light of his life and his greatest sense of joy and pride. He is also survived by his former wife, Denise Tournahu, the mother of their three daughters.

Mike leaves behind six loving sisters and his brothers-in-law: Julie and Michael Farrah, Barbara and Robert Callan, Michele and Joseph Alioto, Catherine Cannata and James Murphy (and the late, beloved Steven J. Cannata), Mary and Joseph Toboni, and Theresa and Joseph Moore. Mike and his sisters enjoyed a close, loving, unique bond and loyalty that will never be broken. He was an enthusiastic and fun loving uncle of 24 nieces and nephews and 25 greatnieces and great-nephews who all adored him. Mike leaves us to join his late mother and father, Regina and Michael Driscoll.

A fourth generation San Franciscan and native Irishman at heart, Mike was a lover of music and dancing with a gift for storytelling. He made friends easily and often and loved to explore and discuss a variety of subjects in-depth. He treasured his close bond with his cousins and was proud of his Irish heritage and ancestry. His friends were blessed by his charisma, quick wit and humor. He also enjoyed hiking and biking, and above all else, outings with his daughters and grandchildren.

Mike was a graduate of Saint Ignatius College Preparatory and the University of San Francisco. He pursued graduate work at the New School in New York City. He was an astute businessman and active in real estate sales and finance. Prior to, he worked alongside his father in the family business, Driscoll’s Mortuary Chapel.

We love you Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle and Friend. We miss you with all our heart.
