Netflix offers the Japanese manga film “Fullmetal Alchemist” for streaming today. “The American Rescue Dog Show” special airs on the Hallmark Channel at 8 p.m. Warren Jeffs, the president of the Fundamentalist Christian Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and a convicted child molester, is the subject of a two-hour documentary. “Warren Jeffs: Prophet of Evil” airs on A&E at 9 p.m. “Star Wars Rebels” resumes airing new episodes on p.m. “X Company” Disney Ovation “Mission premieres XD at9 Impossible”-style at9 on p.m. It’s a thriller set during World War II about an elite team that trains at a secret Canadian facility. It’s pretty good. The first episode is all about the team blowing up a bridge to cripple the Nazis as they advance across Europe. Èvelyne Brochu, Jack Laskey, Warren Brown and Francois Arnaud star. The one episode sent to critics wasn’t quite enough for a review, but I’m intrigued. Here’s to Acorn TV’s “Scotch — The Story of Whisky,” a documentary set in scenic Scotland, of course, and featuring David Hayman as he probes the history of the beloved libation. Also available for streaming on Acorn today, the seven episodes of season three of “Doctor Finlay,” the fourth episode of “Girlfriends,” episodes 5 and 6 of the second season of “The Heart Guy,” and episode 9, season 11 of “Murdoch Mysteries.” Go to www.acorn.tv for info. NBC coverage of the Winter Olympics is set for noon, 5 p.m., 9:05 p.m. and 11:35 p.m. TCM’s Oscar walk-up focuses on films that won best supporting actress awards, including “The Great Lie” at 5 p.m., “The V.I.P.s ” at 7, “Separate Tables,” 9:15; “The Last Picture Show,” 11:15, and “The Year of Living Dangerously” at 1 a.m.
