Dora Doris Bacigalupi

Dora Doris Bacigalupi passed away peacefully in Burlingame on February 25, 2018 at age 89. Born on September 19, 1928, to Frances and Paul Doyle in San Francisco, she spent early years growing up in the Avenues with the extended Rivero family and later in Daly City, where she met her future beloved husband of 70 years, the now late Louis Bacigalupi, Jr.

Dora was the loving mother of the late Paul Louis (Susan) Bacigalupi, Louis Steven Bacigalupi and Ketty Bacigalupi; loved by her grandchildren Paul (Mary) Bacigalupi, Rina (Joel) Bacigalupi-Cadena, Juliana Craig and Kristine Craig. Her growing family includes great-grandchildren Dominic Bacigalupi, Liam Bacigalupi and Ellia Cadena. Dora achieved excellence in many areas of her life and was known for her sense of humor, warmth and lively spirit. She especially enjoyed spending time in the kitchen with family and friends, as well as traveling with her business partner, lifelong friend and husband, Louis Bacigalupi, Jr. Later in life, Dora cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is predeceased by her siblings: Paul Peter Doyle and Victoria Jackson. The family and friends she leaves behind include sisterin-law Rita Ciardella, nieces Sheila Gilson, Denise Veronello, Jodi Pennington, and nephew Raymond Ciardella II. Rest in peace our beloved Granny – we will miss you.

Friends may visit Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
