Here’s a tidy snapshot of the momentum City College of San Francisco and Santa Rosa JC take into Friday’s state championship quarterfinals: Neither team has lost in three months.

CCSF, the top-ranked men’s basketball team among California community colleges, has won 26 consecutive games. The Rams (30-1) absorbed their only loss of the season Nov. 17 against College of the Sequoias.

Santa Rosa (25-4) owns a 21-game winning streak. The Bear Cubs, coached by onetime Arizona guard Craig McMillan, haven’t lost since they fell to De Anza on Dec. 9.

Both teams advanced with two wins in the Northern California regional playoffs. CCSF coasted past West Hills Coalinga (84-63) and Cabrillo (7760), landing a spot in this weekend’s eight-team state tourney at Ventura City College.

The Rams meet Allan Hancock College (23-9) of Santa Maria (Santa Barbara County) in Friday’s quarterfinals at 7 p.m. CCSF is seeking its second state championship in three years under head coach Justin Labagh. He owns a career record of 421-58 in 15 years at the school, with state titles in 2011 and 2016.

Labagh directs an up-tempo, high-powered offense averaging 91.7 points this season. The Rams are holding opponents to 64.4 points per game.

Terrell Brown, from Oakland and Moreau Catholic-Hayward, averages 15.9 points for CCSF. Fellow guard Eddie Stansberry (Riordan High) averages 12.6.

Santa Rosa also likes to shoot from long distance. Skylar Chavez leads the Bear Cubs at 20.1 points per game; Beau Keeve (11.1), Sadik Sufi (10.8) and Jordan Graves (10.2) also are in double figures. Santa Rosa faces San Diego City College (31-2) in Friday’s quarterfinals, at 1 p.m.
