Paul Hanlon Robinson, 64, passed away on February 13, 2018 at Kaiser Hospital in Oakland, CA. He was born on October 31, 1953 in San Jose, CA to Charles and Maribeth Robinson.

Paul grew up in San Jose and attended local schools there through high school. After high school he moved to Berkeley in 1971 to attend the University of California, Berkeley where he studied psychology. He worked for Bank of America and Kaiser Permanente as a software developer and computer analyst.

Paul was an active member of St. Gregory of Nyssa Episcopal Church in San Francisco, where he sang bass in the choir. He enjoyed singing, woodworkin­g and Zydeco dancing.

Paul is survived by his brothers and sisters David (Nora) Robinson of Readyville TN, Carol (Ian) Middleton of Santa Rosa CA, Martha (Peter) Wood of San Jose CA, and Jack (Mimi) Robinson of Palo Cedro CA.; his Aunt Nancy Schell, Auntie Jo Berg, Uncle Mike Berg and Aunt Ginny Furth; his nieces and nephews Amber, Meredith, Brady, Tim, Katie, Jamie, Suzie, MaryAnne, Robinson, Ginny, Hannah, Audra, Elise, and David; 10 great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as cousins Alison Furth, Donald Schell, Nan Notor, Peter Schell, Melinda Schell, Steve Berg, Catherine Greig, and Joan Yoder.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Maribeth Robinson.

A memorial service will be held at St. Gregory of Nyssa Episcopal Church, 500 De Haro Street, San Francisco at 10:00 Saturday March 17th; Paul has donated his body to the University of California, San Francisco Medical School.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
