Congressional seat

Pardon the cynicism, but does anyone think that President Trump’s recent announcement imposing tariffs on aluminum and steel imports was simply meant to help the GOP win a special election for a congressional seat? After all, this election is being held in western Pennsylvania, where the U.S. steel industry provides jobs for many local residents. Perhaps Trump’s new modus operandi is “Think local, act global.”
