He was a proud San Francisco native. He attended St. Paul’s, Sacred Heart, Mission High and City College. He worked for the San Francisco Muni as a bus and streetcar driver, but the “highlight” job was as a cable car grip man. He enjoyed interacting with the locals and tourists.

He was a member of the Legion of Mary and visited the sick and homebound regularly. He was active in various Church groups and was awarded Parishioner of the Year for 2017, St. Robert’s Catholic Church. He was a hard worker and loved to praise the Lord in song!

Bruce will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was kind and respectful and generous and loved his fellow man.

Bruce appreciated all the cards and prayers from everyone during his short illness. The family is grateful to the doctors and nurses at Kaiser Hospital S.S.F. for their care and respect. The efficiency and expertise of the San Bruno Fire and Police Departments is greatly appreciated.
