1929-2018

-

Passed away peacefully on March 27, 2018, at his home in Santa Cruz, at the age of 88. He is survived by his three children, Anthony, Maryann and John and his daughter-in-law, Debra. In addition, Frank leaves behind numerous family and friends.

Frank was raised in Vista, California, where he grew up on the family ranch surrounded by his large, loving family. After he graduated from Vista High School, he served four years in the U.S. Navy stationed at Moffett Field and Midway Island. Following his service in the Navy, Frank attended San Jose State University where he obtained a degree in Interior Design. He had a long career as an interior designer and decorator and developed life-long friendships with many of his customers who appreciated not only his knowledge and expertise, but his warm heart.

Frank was an avid tennis player and was a regular on the tennis court until he was 82 years old. He hung up his racket but maintained friendships with members of his tennis club and continued to follow every tennis tournament until his last week on earth.

Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at the Diaz Compean Student Union at San Jose State University, Meeting Room 1A.

A special thank you to Frank’s diligent and loving caretaker, Dennis. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his memory to your favorite charity.
