In a week when we learned Mark Zuckerberg was a “power user of the Internet,” this also happened:

California State Teachers’ Retirement System Chief Investment Officer Christopher Ailman joined the #DeleteFacebook campaign, tweeting that he removed his personal account because of “offensive” lack of oversight and poor management. In 2014, he pushed the company to add more female directors, saying there were “too many ugly white guys on boards.” (The fund still owns shares in the company and maintains a Facebook page.)

Virgin Galactic’s new spaceship climbed at supersonic speed over California’s Mojave Desert in the company’s first powered flight since the fatal crash of its original rocket ship in 2014. The flight of VSS Unity was a major step forward, said the company, which plans to carry tourists on suborbital hops into the lower reaches of space. “Back on track ... Space feels tantalisingly close now,” Virgin Galactic founder Richard Branson tweeted. Maribel Perez Wadsworth, 45, was named publisher of USA Today, the second woman to hold the post. Wadsworth, above, is taking up the role immediately after the retirement of John Zidich . ... And Emily Nemens, 34, a co-editor of the Southern Review, was named editor of the Paris Review, one of the most prestigious literary magazines in the United States. Nemens takes the helm several months after Lorin Stein resigned under a cloud of harassment allegations.

Steve Jurvetson, who left Draper Fisher Jurvetson in a messy split late last year, is starting his own firm, Recode reported. Jurvetson confirmed the creation of Future

Ventures, whose website’s reference to “founders” implies others may join him. His old firm is keeping the J for now.

And finally, Dunkin’ Donuts has added Donut Fries, along with other nontraditional products, to its $2 snacking menu at a few stores in the Boston area. In addition to the fries, customers can order pretzel bites, waffle-breaded chicken tenders, Munchkin dippers and a gluten-free brownie.
