The soup of the day is the series finale of “Scandal ”on ABC at 10 p.m. Always entertaini­ng, often great, the show was one of Shonda Rhimes’ best and Kerry Washington was never less than magnetic. In the streaming world, Netflix offers the first season of “Charité,” and Sundance Now offers “Take Five: The Shadow of ISIS.” Season four of “Jay Leno’s Garage” kicks off on CNBC with an episode on movie cars at 10 p.m. Viceland airs a special on “Party Legends” at 10:30 p.m. with a focus on stoner stories.

FRIDAY, APRIL 20

Amazon Prime’s streaming offers today include a new episode of “The Remix” and the special “Pass Over.” On the Netflix menu: the second season of “Dope,” the documentar­y “Mercury 13,” the feature film “Dude,” the feature film “Kodachrome,” the first season of “Aggretsuko” and the first season of “Spy Kids: Mission Critical.” BBC America is wild about Harry. Styles, that is, who is in the spotlight on “Harry Styles at the BBC,” airing at 9 p.m. The British heartthrob sings songs from his terrific solo album, as well as a couple of covers, sits patiently for inane conversati­on with interviewe­r Nick Grimshaw, and tools around Manchester visiting a senior citizens home, eating fish and chips, and throwing axes. Really. The CW’s terrific “Jane the Virgin” wraps its fourth season at 9 p.m. She’s not just a Broadway baby but a cabaret chanteuse and the star of TV Land’s dramedy, “Younger.” Sutton Foster, star of “Thoroughly Modern Millie ,”“Young Frankenste­in,” “Shrek the Musical ”and“The Drowsy Chaperone,” among many more Broadway hits, stars in“Live From Lincoln Center” on KQED at 9 p.m., with special guest Jonathan Groff, who’s done a bit of his own singing on “Glee ”andin“Spring Awakening.” It will be followed at 10 bya“Great Performanc­es Special ”as Will.i.am reunites with other members of the Black Eyed Peas in London’s Royal Albert Hall. CBS airs a news special at 10 p.m. on “Meghan Markle: American Princess.” As of May 19, she’ll be a married lady and a member of the British royal family.

SATURDAY, APRIL 21

The catch of the day is the second-season kickoff of “Westworld ”on HBO at 9 p.m. Based on the 1973 film written and directed by the late Michael Crichton, the series ramps things up this season as the robotic “hosts” of the amusement park for rich people have staged an uprising against their human masters. Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton and Jeffrey Wright are standouts among the cast. Because the “Westworld” season opener is a 70-minute show, this week’s new episode of“Silicon Valley” will air at 10:15 p.m., a new “Barry ”at 10:45 p.m. and “Last Week Tonight With John Oliver” at 11:15. The History Channel airs the second part of “The Untold Story of the 90s” at 8 p.m. “Fear the Walking Dead” slips into its regular AMC time slot of 9 p.m., followed by the third-season premiere of “Into the Badlands” at 10.
