Christophe­r Robin: This Disney animated feature has Ewan McGregor as the grown-up Christophe­r, who is rescued from the doldrums by his childhood friend Winnie the Pooh and the other denizens of the Hundred Acre Wood.

The Darkest Minds: This dystopian fantasy is set in a future America when children who have survived a deadly epidemic and developed psychic powers are interned by the government.

Far From the Tree: A documentar­y, based on Andrew Solomon’s book, about the fallout within families in which children and parents have extensive difference­s. Directed by Rachel Dretzin.

Love, Cecil: Filmmaker Lisa Immordino Vreeland (“Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has To Travel”) documents the life and work of photograph­er, designer, painter and writer Cecil Beaton. The film features voice-over from Beaton’s diaries.

Puzzle: Kelly Macdonald portrays a suburban wife whose life is changed when she becomes involved in jigsaw puzzle competitio­ns. The movie was written by Oren Moverman and Polly Mann.

The Spy Who Dumped Me: Susanna Fogel (“Chasing Life”) directed this action comedy about two best friends (Mila Kunis, Kate McKinnon) who are accidental­ly caught up in internatio­nal intrigue involving spies and assassins.

The Third Murder: Japanese writer-director Hirokazu Koreeda (“Maborosi”) offers a courtroom drama about a lawyer who pursues the complex truth while defending a client who has confessed to murder.
