Lee Breault son, brother, husband, uncle, friend, neighbor, World War II Veteran. A native of Fall River MA, and a proud graduate of the class of 1943 from Prevost High School. Lee served in the Navy from 12/1943 – 2/1947 aboard the USS Estes during the Iwo Jima and Okinawa invasions, and later was aboard the USS Fall River during the Bikini Atoll atomic weapons test. Lee permanentl­y relocated to CA in 1952 with his wife Claire (nee Charron) initially calling San Francisco home, and retired after a 35yr career with Kraft Foods. He was very active in his community in Foster City, CA which he called home for over 50 years. He had a strong love for opera and classical music, and enjoyed going to performanc­es in big opera houses and symphony halls, as well as supporting various school, and community chamber, symphonic, and opera production­s. As a member of the Tenderloin Opera Company he co-authored an original opera called “Smoke Times Seven.”

Lee is preceded in death by his wife Claire, his parents Edgar and Leona, and his brother Robert, and is survived by his sister Jeannine Scholz (Edward), niece Denise Scholz (Christophe­r Bettencour­t), nephew Robert Breault (Glynis Evans), nephew Richard Breault (Liz), niece Elaine Breault, niece Leslie Story, niece Janet Levine, niece Patricia Breault, niece Constance Nagle (Patrick), niece Constance Rae (Hal), nephew John Laliberte, niece Linda Sellechio (John), as well as many great nieces and nephews. Lee will be missed by his many friends at the Bayshore Friendship Senior Citizens Club in Daly City, the Over 55 Club and the Peninsula Jewish Community Center both in Foster City, as well as by fellow Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 69 friends where he was a lifetime member.

Those who knew Lee will remember him as someone with a sociable nature, his love for music, playing cards, and calling bingo.

A graveside ceremony will be held at 10am Saturday August 18th 2018, at Olivet Memorial Park in Colma, in the mausoleum’s Alcove of Faith.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to: That Man May See, The American Diabetes Associatio­n, The Humane Society, or in support of the arts in your own community.
