Two other people were injured in a Jeep when the driver lost control trying to avoid the trucks. The Utah Highway Patrol said investigating officers found prescription pills and open containers of alcohol inside the dump truck after the accident Friday. The dump truck driver, Jamie Don McKenzie, 41, was treated for minor injuries and booked on suspicion of vehicular homicide, the agency said. The driver of the pickup was identified as Efrain Cardenas, 62. Patrol Sgt. Lawrence Hopper said authorities were working to identify the other victims.

The crew of another fishing boat called the Coast Guard around 9:35 p.m. to report seeing the fire and several people in the water. Crew members pulled 15 people from the water, including two who needed urgent medical attention.
