Warriors guard Stephen Curry emerged unhurt after his car was struck by two vehicles Friday morning.

A Lexus sedan lost control and crossed two lanes before colliding with Curry’s Porsche on Highway 24 just west of the Caldecott Tunnel, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Curry pulled over in the center median to wait for assistance, and about 10 minutes later, a Honda Civic veered into the concrete wall and then his vehicle, the CHP said.

“Thankfully, everyone walked away uninjured due to everyone wearing their seat belts,” a statement on CHP Oakland’s Facebook page said. “We would like to remind everyone to slow it during inclement weather.”

Officer Herman Baza, a public information officer with the CHP’s Oakland office, said the crash could have been disastrous if the drivers involved, including Curry, were not wearing seat belts.

“These first days of rain are hazardous, and drivers are more prone to hydroplane

when the roadways are slick,” Baza said. “The rain definitely played a role in these crashes, but luckily there were no injuries.”

No impairment was detected for any of the drivers and no arrests were made, police said. The incident, which occurred around 9 a.m., did not block traffic, and Curry made it to practice.

He later tweeted: “Don’t need any reminders but All the Time God is Great and God is Great all the time! Appreciate all the texts.”

Baza said CHP officers responded to 35 crashes Friday in the Oakland area.

“That’s just today, and they’ve varied from crashes involving minor injuries to crashes where people are sent to hospitals with complaints of pain,” Baza said. “We sound like broken records, but keeping your eyes and ears open and focusing on what’s ahead of you while driving can save lives.”

Curry received unrelated treatment at the team facility for a groin injury that has kept him out of seven games. He was ruled out of games against Portland on Friday and Sacramento on Saturday, when the team is expected to update his status.

“He’s fine. He was a little shaken up like anybody would be getting into a car accident,” said Warriors head coach Steve Kerr. “But thankfully, nobody was hurt and Steph’s doing fine. I think he has another car he can drive, so he’s going to be OK.”
