Florence married the love of her life, William J. Yanchok. They raised their family in Irvington NJ and moved to San Francisco, CA where they managed an apartment building on retirement. Florence is survived by her daughters Darcy Le Raye (Geoff) and Jory Henckel (Doug), a sister, Evelyn Stern, grandchildren Jason Henckel and Christopher Henckel (Georgia). At the time of her death she was looking forward to the arrival of her first greatgrandchild, Frankie Jane. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, Evelyn Sabo (Norman, deceased) and her family, Hope Saladino (Peter) and their family, Pam Galgani (Mark, deceased), Kim Palma (Albert), Ron Abramowitz (Andy) and family and Phil Abramowitz (Lauren) and family.

Thanks to God’s grace and the miracle of On Lok, Florence enjoyed excellent care in her final years. A special mention to the staff of Hayes Convalescent Hospital who provided that care with dignity.

Florence now rests peacefully next to her beloved William at the National Cemetery, Presidio, San Francisco.
