BOSTON — Warriors forward Eric Paschall has been selected to participate in the 2020 Rising Stars game at NBA AllStar Weekend in Chicago, the league announced Friday.

Paschall will be a member of Team USA. The 26th Rising Stars showcase pits 10 first and secondyear NBA players from the U.S. against 10 first and secondyear players from around the world on Feb. 14, two days before the AllStar Game.

In 44 games this season, Paschall is averaging 13.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists. The No. 41 pick in June’s NBA draft out of Villanova, Paschall, 23, will be the Warriors’ lone representative at AllStar Weekend. Golden State won’t have an AllStar for the first time since 2013.

Paschall is joined on Team USA by Pelicans forward Zion Williamson, Hornets forwards Miles Bridges and PJ Washington, and guard Devonte’ Graham; Heat guards Tyler Herro and Kendrick Nunn; Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. and guard Ja Morant; and Hawks guard Trae Young.

Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic leads the World team, joined by Pelicans guard Nickeil AlexanderWalker, Suns center Deandre Ayton, Knicks swingman RJ Barrett, Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke, Thunder guard Shai GilgeousAlexander, Wizards forward Rui Hachimura and center Moritz Wagner, Pistons forward Svi Mykhailiuk and Timberwolves guard Josh Okogie.

NBA assistant coaches picked the Rising Stars rosters, with each of the league’s 30 teams submitting one ballot per coaching staff. A ballot was made up of four frontcourt players, four guards and two additional players at either position group for each team. Voters also had to choose at least three firstyear players and three secondyear players for each team.

Paschall will be the 15th Warriors player to participate in the Rising Stars game, which started in 1994.
